About Department
It is working under the guidance of most experienced lecturer and author of many academic books since 2002. The department has been updated and fully equipped with work material, Display charts and other materials to facilitate the students to have more exposure in the practicals.
Every year our department is conducting Botanical tours and visiting many places to study the flora of various species related to plants. We are also encouraging the students to participate in the seminars at national and international level.
Achievements of Our departments:
- 2015 Academic year our student Kumari SULTAN SWETHA awarded by Prathiba Award by the Government of Andhrapradesh
- During 2016-2017 academic our students got first Prize in VRUKSHA-2017- Resent Innvations in Plant Science organized by, Department of Botany, Andhra Loyola College (Autonomous), Vijayawada.
- Every year we are supporting the students to continue their education in prestigious institutions like Central universities, and other national institutions.
