From Principal's Desk...

Dear Parent/Student! Welcome to NRK&KSR Gupta Degree College. Tenali, an institution of academic excellence and achievement, was established in 1991. It is amongst one of the finest colleges within the Acharya Nagarjuna University. At Gupta College, we are imparting higher education to young students in Andhra Pradesh, which is a very substantial, potent and conscientious task.

I want that our students should be imparted an all round education so that they become multidimensional rather than uni-dimensional. In my view, acquiring information is no longer the main focus of education; instead the main aim of education is to build the powers of human mind and spirit. We believe in providing our students an environment, rich in knowledge and supportive for their extracurricular interests. We aim to evaluate our students on the basis of their physical, mental, social, emotional and intellectual development.

It is wonderful to look back at the last few years, at Gupta College, when there is so much to feel proud of and so much to celebrate. Thrice Our MCom Students received Gold medals from Acharya Nagarjuna University. Our Biotechnology, Botany, chemistry combinations students are also received PRATHIBA AWARDS from Andhra Pradesh Government. In the 2015-16 academic  year our Biotechnology students received JUNIOUR SCIENTIST Award from Association of Biotechnology and Pharmacy. The phenomenal academic achievements of our students have always added glory to the college by securing high University Ranks.

I feel proud to acknowledge the contribution of highly qualified, dynamic and multi-talented faculty, non teaching staff and my students for this. We have to continue to move ahead for producing and maintaining the best. We run fourteen departmental societies and twelve Programmes / Courses which endeavor to enrich the academic and extra-curricular standards of our students. Our teachers work hard throughout the year with the students to provide them high quality educational experience in the form of debates, group discussions, workshops, symposia, seminars and cultural competitions. Eminent personalities are invited from all walks of life to address our students and expose them to new ideas and thoughts. We are also providing the CRT classes to improve their communication and interview skills.
